Week 10 - Is the playoff picture getting any clearer?

If the playoffs started today…we would all be shocked because it’s only week 10…seriously, there would be some surprises in who wouldn’t be in the winter mix for the Super Bowl in Tampa…no Colts, Jags or Chargers…no Cowboys, Seahawks or Saints…what an amazing year so far…this past week Al Davis decided to improve the Raiders by cutting their best defensive back…this after a game in which they had only 3 first downs in the whole game! Maybe they are saving themselves for the upcoming Arena Football League schedule..

Matt Ryan continues to lead the Falcons effectively…let’s see how he does at home against the Saints this week…a win could go a long way towards a return to the playoffs…

Chris Johnsonhasn’t hit the rookie wall yet and neither have the Titans…this week a meeting on the lakeshore in Chicago, who have had trouble stopping the run…Johnson must be itching to get at it…

Matt Forteis benefiting from the breakout season of Kyle Orton, so defenses have to defend the pass against the Bears…not a concern last year…how will he fare against the undefeated Titans who have the best defense in the NFL?

BenJarvis Green-Ellis is the new running star in New England…he has come from nowhere to average over 9 yards a carry and already has 3 touchdowns…someone to watch for as you collect this years rookies…if he keeps this up he will get a lot of  media attention playing for the Pats…
